Herbs and acupuncture can heal  fever very quickly. In the past 3 months , in my clinic there were 20 more cases of fever and high fever that  have been healed only with the  use of  herbs or  herbs plus acupuncture . Most case are  healed in one day.

Male, 48 years old, felt headache in the morning, at night he had a  high fever  of 39. 2 . You can feel the  heat from of  his skin. Deep  slumber, bad dreams .

Pulse:  tense and rapid
Tongue read: read  tongue. more red show on tip of tongue. White coating.
Diagnosis: fever, wind-hot type
Trearment:
Herbs: yinqiaosan .

Result: Take herbs  at about 10 pm, every 3 hours take 120ml . After 3 times that was around 5am  ,his temperature dropped to 37.2. He took another one to enhance the result.  And he slept through the   whole day to recover his physical strength.

中醫治療發熱療效迅速。在過去三個月裡，我診所已治療了20多例高燒病人。

男，48歲，早上覺頭疼，晚上已高燒39.2，渾身透熱氣，昏睡，夢多。舌紅苔白脈緊數。

此例只用中藥銀翹散，晚上10點多服藥，每隔3小時服120毫升左右，3服後次日早上5點多已退燒。雖然退了熱，但總是高熱傷身，所以此病人接著白天睡了一整天來恢復體力，更多服一劑中藥來鞏固療。

高燒在外感病中非常常見，中醫辨證治療多屬風熱證，有些病例還夾濕。如果高燒（38.5以上），伴頭疼，喉嚨痛，小便黃，舌紅或舌邊和舌尖更紅，那就可以用銀翹散，中藥煮的那種，藥只需用水泡過藥面，浸泡1小時左右，就用大火煮，煮開後繼續大火5分鐘就可，過煮會失去藥性。藥後2-3小時會開始降溫，每3-4 小時給藥，一般8小時左右體溫會回復正常，人也精神起來，會想吃東西，這是身體恢復的表現。若加上針灸穴位會好得更快。若夾濕的話可加上藿香，佩蘭或可能是九味羌活湯證，所以一定要辯證用藥。

Acupuncture for palpation 針灸和中藥治療心悸心慌

This is a case back in 2015.

Patient: age 10, female

Complaint: Every night at around 8 pm, she experienced hand tremors and difficulty breathing. The tremors were severe enough that she couldn't hold a cup of water. This lasts 30 minutes every night. The symptoms passed when she coughs hard.

Details: Patient had injured her right ankle during gymnastics practice which resulted in a torn ligament. Doctors prescribed painkillers for the injury. She began taking painkillers in mid-October, and the problems started in mid-November. She stopped taking the medication after the problems began. She started acupuncture  treatment  on December 12,2015.

Diagnosis process: Face is pale, tongue shaking
Pulse: Rapid, tense, and uneven.

Dignosis: The Pericardium Channel is attacked

Treatment 1: Acupuncture. Points use: neiguan shenmen zusanli sanyinjiao
result: the same night she had lighter symptom and last only 15 minutes

Treatment 2-3: Acupuncture Points use: neiguan shenmen xinshu jueyinshu
Result: after third session, her  symptoms were almost completely gone, except  she still has nightmares.
Continued another 4 sessions of acupuncture combine with herbs( suanzaoren 6g, zhiyuanzhi 3g_), This patient was cured.

這是一個2015年12 月的病例。

女，10歲。

主訴：每晚8點左右心慌，透不過氣，手抖，連水杯都拿不穩。這種難受的感覺持續半小時，隨後一陣劇烈的咳嗽後心慌，呼吸困難緩解。病人在10月14日扭傷右腳，韌帶撕裂，西醫給了她止痛藥，吃了3周多後出現上述症狀。從11月中旬發病到來我診所看病時已有3周多。

面診：面色蒼白

舌診：顫抖舌

脈診：弦緊，不均勻

診斷：心包受邪

首次治療穴位：內關， 三陰交，足三裡。

一次治療後發作時間縮短至15分鐘。

二三次針灸用穴：內關，神門，心俞，厥陰俞。中藥酸棗仁，制遠志

三次治療後根本痊癒，但仍有噩夢，會驚醒。繼續治療4次後所有症狀已去除。

Pre-stroke symptoms and how to prevent stroke中风先兆和预防中风

男性，57歲，

主訴：3日前開始覺頭暈，現頭暈，左後腦痛，項強，腦中熱感，自覺說話時舌頭不俐落。 

舌診：暗紅，前部苔薄白，根部白厚，舌下絡脈粗

脈診：弦硬

中醫診斷：肝腎陰虛，肝陽上亢，中風先兆。

方藥：鎮肝熄風湯加減

結果：兩服藥後，自覺80%眩暈感已去，舌轉動如常

複診：上藥再服一副，之後服六味地黃丸善後

注意：如有以下症狀，應警惕中風。寫字變形；動作忽然不靈活；或動作 緩慢；說話含糊，舌頭感覺麻木，不流利；面色如醉等。

Pre-stroke case

Male, 57 years old

Complaints: Started to feel dizzy 3 days ago. He describes it as feeling like sitting on a boat, pain on the back of the left side of his head, stiff neck, feels as if heat is inside his head, his tongue does not feel smooth when he talks. 

Tongue Observation:

 Dark red color, white thin coating in the front part of the tongue, white thick coating at the root of the tongue. The sublingual veins are thick.

Pulse Examination:

 taut (tight , stretched and rigid)

Diagnosis:

Ying deficiency of liver and kidney, Hyperactivity of liver-yang, pre-stroke

Major formula:

Zhen Gan Xi Feng Tang

Result:

 After 2 days herbs, 80% dizziness feeling gone, tongue feeling back to normal.

Second treatment:

One more day herbs as  the same formula as the first visit, then use Liu Wei Di Huang Wan to nourish liver and kidney yin.

Symptoms that might indicate you are at risk of having a stroke soon:
There is sudden deterioration in writing, body movements are less flexible, face is flushed as if drunk, numbness or unusual feeling in the tongue, degradation of speech, and feeling of intense heat from within the head.

  

Acupuncture &Herbs for infertility 針灸和中藥治療不孕症

Female, 34 years old, had unsuccessful  IVF history. She has had an irregular menstrual since 18 years old. At the age of 23 years, she hadn't experienced a period for whole year.

October 2015,  she started to use herbs and acupuncture  treatment for her menstrual problem. The diagnosis for her was a weakness in the spleen and kidney, blood deficiency and liver -qi stagnation. Using herbs and acupuncture treatments can adjust the FSH level and improve egg quality

 The patient is a 38 years old woman, under the process of IVF. She was told her FSH (Follicle-stimulating hormone) was high, and her eggs were low quality.

She had tried a few  IVF treatments however was unsuccessful. She decided to have acupuncture and herb treatments to help  improve the eggs quality, and adjust her hormone levels. From October 2015 to November 2015, she had  12 sessions of acupuncture and 16 days of herbs. On November 28,  2015  one egg was taken which was good quality, November 29, 2015 she was told the egg  had fertilized.

 February 29, 2016 she camen to tell me she has been pregnant for 14 weeks. Congratulations!

How acupuncture can improve the opportunity for successful IVF 针灸和中药如何提高人工受孕机会

More and more people today realize that acupuncture can increase the chances of successful IVF. But how? That is the thing that a lot of people want to know. Basically, we all know acupuncture will improve the blood circulation, calm the mind, reduce depression, and anxiety.
Just like any other Traditional Chinese medical treatment, you need to have a Traditional Chinese medical diagnosis before you start acupuncture treatment for IVF. The aspects a TCM practitioner look for are many, such as: energy(qi) deficiency, blood deficiency, yin or yang deficiency or excess, liver qi stagnation, blood stasis, etc. Based on diagnosis, acupuncture treatment plan will be made to either improve energy,  tonify and nourish blood, supplement yin or yang, soothe liver and regulate qi, or circulate the blood and resolve the stasis.

When needing these points, will promote the function of the ovaries and uterus, improve the quality of eggs, help to release more eggs,offer a suitable inside environment for fertilization and the embryo to grow. This is one of the therapeutic properties that acu-points have, that is, local and adjacent therapeutic properties. Base on the diagnosis, some points will be chosen for the remote therapeutic properties such as Zusanli, Juque, for those have deficiency in stomach meridians, Sanyinjiao to increase the spleen liver and kidney function, or Nieguan to calm your mind, etc.

Case： Female，38+ year old, already experienced the IVF process twice but was unsuccessful both times. She heard acupuncture treatment can increase the chance of successful of IVF, that is why she came to my clinic.  According to her assessment, she has deficiency of spleen and blood deficiency. The treatment strategy is to calm her mind, strengthen the spleen and tonify the blood. She had 3 sessions of acupuncture, and 10 days herbs before the embryo transfer. On the day of embryo transfer, she had acupuncture treatment in the afternoon (embryo transfer procedure was in the mooning). She also had acupuncture treatments two days later, and one week later. Then her report showed she was successfully pregnant.

Acupuncture for Vertigo (Ménière's disease）针灸治疗美尼氏综合症

Ménière's disease, also called endolymphatic hydrops, can be difficult to cope with for people who have it. The main symptom is severe rotational vertigo, severe vomiting can lead to stomach cramp, and heavy sweating all over the body. Acupuncture treatment can stop the vertigo feeling quickly, normally in 0.5-1hour, along with the other accompanying symptoms.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, we separate vertigo into five types:
1.hyperactivity of liver-yang
2.Deficiency of qi and blood
3.Phlegm-turbidity obstructing the middle jiao
4.kidney-essence deficiency
5.Stagnant blood blocking the brain collaterals
Acupuncture treatment and herbs based on syndrome differentiation.

Case Introduction:
Now I will talk about a patient who has vertigo. Male，61  years old, one morning he suddenly had severe rotational vertigo with a sensation of his head being wrapped by a towel. This feeling persists even when he laid down. He could not open his eyes because of  severe spinning. Heavy vomiting occurred more than 20 times a day and caused him to develop a stomach cramp. In addition to these symptoms, he complained of tightness in his chest and looked extremely fatigued. His tongue was swollen and had white coating. His pulse was wiry and slippery. Based on these symptoms, his vertigo is type 3 from the list above.

Treatment:
Acupuncture points: Baihui, Fengchi, Fenglong, Juegu, Zusanli, Neiguan. Apply moxibustion on points.

20 minutes later he stated the spinning feeling was gone and he was able to open his eyes. Since his heavy vomiting has hurt his stomach, I told him to eat congee or porridge for a few days in order for his stomach to recover.




       美尼氏综合症，西医又叫耳水不平衡，以剧烈的旋转性眩晕为主要症状，伴随剧烈的呕吐，遍身冷汗，病人有很深的恐惧感。此证属中医眩晕范畴，临床上分几个症型。
1.肝阳上亢型，
2.气血亏虚型，
3.痰浊中阻型，
4.肾经不足型
5.瘀血阻窍型等，
有时还混合2个症型。下面介绍一例痰浊中阻型的治疗。
        男性，61岁，某天清晨突感天旋地转，不能站立，剧烈呕吐，卧床闭目还眩晕不止，历时2天仍不减轻，头晕头痛，头部有重压感，胸闷难受。诊：舌胖大，舌质淡，舌苔白，脉弦滑。针灸用穴： 百会，风池，丰隆，绝骨，足三里，针后得气加灸。20分钟后病人已能睁开眼睛，眩晕停止。因剧烈呕吐损伤胃，所以喝稀粥调理几天后复原。
